The conservation and improvement of the environment should be one of mankind’s most important objectives. The Society "ECOLOGIA E INVESTIGACION" has been founded to help contribute towards this objective on a national level and in the following ways.

In order to take rational steps towards the conservation or improvement of the environment in general, the approach must be based on logical, feasible studies with a scientific basis.

The Society contributes to the above by encouraging scientific work, sponsoring or co-sponsoring scientific studies which will enable institutions and public bodies to take logical and rational decisions with regard to their environmental activities.
